Common questions

How does the app choose a place?
Each day of the forecast is scored on sunshine, rain and how the temperature feels. A good day is sunny for at least half the daylight, with little rain. A place has to be clearly better than where you are, and when two places are similar, the closer one comes first.
Why does it say I'm already in the best spot?
Because nothing within your distance beats your own forecast. The app doesn't invent a winner. You can search a little further or change your options.
Why are the places named after a town and an area?
The app compares forecasts across a grid of regions in Europe. Each region is named after its largest town, so a result points you to an area, not to one exact address.
Are the distances driving distances?
No. Distances are straight lines, so the drive will be longer. "Open in Maps" gives you the real route.
How reliable is a 14-day forecast?
Less reliable than a short one. Forecasts beyond a week are a rough outlook, and the app counts those later days less when it ranks places.
Can I use the app without sharing my location?
Yes. Choose "Enter a place" and type a town to search from. You can change it later from the home screen.
Which countries are covered?
Most of Europe, including the Canary Islands, Madeira and the Azores. More regions may follow.
